2024 Classes + Workshops
See your favorite spring ephemerals in their natural habitat and learn which beauties you can grow in your yard. Other than sturdy walking shoes, no supplies are needed. Dress for the weather.
This walk will be held at Sycamore State Park on Friday, April 5th, from 6 to 7 pm. The fee is $10 per person. Register through our website here.
Brooke, DRL's education coordinator, will be presenting at two local Wild Birds Unlimited locations.
We are excited to partner with Wild Birds Unlimited to offer two free presentations on native plants for birds! Learn about what plants birds need for food, shelter, and feeding their young. These short but informative presentations will cover detailed information about the plants and trees most beneficial for birds in our region and how to grow them.
The presentation at Wild Birds Unlimited in Kettering will start at 9:30, and the presentation at Wild Birds Unlimited in Huber Heights will start at 1 p.m. Both events are free, and you can shop for native plants afterward.
